Cambridge/Deerfield Police Department
The Village of Cambridge contracts through the Dane County Sheriff's Department for protection of residents and businesses. The police department, which is located in downtown Cambridge, is able to patrol the entire village while maintaining high visibility. Deputies are committed to community policing and having a positive impact with residents and businesses.

Accident reports, incident reports, and other records may be obtained from the Dane County Sheriff's Office Records Section. When making a request, please be as specific as possible by including the case number (if available), names, dates, times, locations.

Medication Drop
The Cambridge/Deerfield Police Departments do not hold scheduled monthly medication drops. Please call your respective police department and leave a voicemail requesting to meet with a deputy to dispose of your unwanted medications.

Bring your unused or expired medication in a Ziploc bag (dispose of the bottles they came in). Leave liquids, gels or creams in their original containers and place them in a Ziploc bag. Do not bring IV bags, oxygen tanks, nebulizer machines, thermometers, sharps, epi-pens or anything with a needle or lancet.
