Absentee Voting

Any qualified elector who is unable or unwilling to appear at the polling place on election day may request to vote an absentee ballot. A qualified elector is any U.S. citizen, who will be 18 years of age or older on election day, who has resided in the ward of the municipality where he or she wishes to vote for at least 28 consecutive days before the election. The elector must also be registered in the Village of Cambridge in order to receive an absentee ballot. If you are not sure that you are registered, you can e-mail us or call (608) 423-3712.

Poll Worker Interest

Become a Poll Worker

The Wisconsin Elections Commission encourages all private citizens to vote and to become involved in the election process. One of the most rewarding ways to do this is to become an Election Day poll worker (or "Election Inspector" as the position is formally called). The Chief Election Inspector is in charge of the polling place, and has additional training requirements.

Citizen involvement is essential to conduct open, accurate and fair elections in Wisconsin. We hope that you will consider participation in one of these positions.
