Water bills
I wanted to put this out to the community to make some of you aware of an issue we discovered when sending out water/sewer bills for this month. This is specifically for those of you who might have had a new meter installed within the last couple of months. Our Water & Sewer Superintendent has been diligently working to replace meters that are over 20 years old so some of you might have had a visit from him and his helper. If so, this billing issue refers to you.
We discovered that the new meters needed a "refresh" in one of our systems in order for the other system to talk to each other. Because of this, those customers didn't show a reading from those meters and would have only gotten charged a base rate for the past couple of months. And now that we have this fixed and did the refresh you will have a larger bill this month due to the consumption finally being billed and logged.

We want to be very transparent with these things so I want to make everyone aware without any surprises, at least as much as possible. I appreciate everyone's understanding now and in the future.
