VILLAGE SEEKING APPLICANTS FOR VACANT VILLAGE TRUSTEE SEAT 

The Village of Cambridge is accepting resumes and letters of interest for a vacant Trustee position on the Cambridge Village Board.  Applicants must be a Village of Cambridge resident.   

Village Trustee is an elected position. While three candidates received votes for the three uncontested Trustee seats in the April 2026 Spring Election, a candidate has declined to accept the seat. This creates a need to fill the vacant seat through the two-year term which will end in April 2028. After that time, the incumbent filling the seat can choose whether to seek re-election.

If you are interested in serving on the Village Board, please provide a letter of interest and resume to the Village Offices by noon on Monday, April 27, 2026. It is expected that the Village Board will review submissions at the April 28, 2026, Village Board meeting. Interested parties should anticipate attending that Village Board meeting at 6:30 p.m. that evening.
