Special Leaf Drop-off

Due to the early snow fall in November, The Village of Cambridge’s Department of Public Works was unable to collect all the terrace leaves in 2025.

The Village of Cambridge will be opening the Yard Waste/Brush Drop off site early this year (2026) to allow Village residents to drop off leaves at their convenience.

Special Open Dates:

·        Open all day Friday – Sunday

·        February 20th – March 15th

  • Normal hours will resume after March 15th

  • Please be careful! It is very wet and muddy at the drop-off site, 4-wheel drive vehicles are recommended!

General Guidelines:

The drop-off site may be utilized by any non-commercial Village of Cambridge residents. Business, contractor or non-resident usage of the site is not allowed.

All plastic bags/containers must be emptied and removed. Compostable paper bags are allowable.

The following materials are not allowed at the drop-off site:

·        No Garbage

·        No Building Materials

·        No Pallets

·        No Boards

·        No Ashes

·        No Fill (Dirt/Gravel)

·        No Concrete

·        No Asphalt

·        No Stone

·        No Metal

·        No Illegal Dumping

 

The Village of Cambridge Department of Public Works hopes that this clarifies the special leaf drop off and helps all Village residents to comply so that this service can continue to be provided in a safe and cost-effective manner.
