Fall leaf pickup!

It’s that time of year again!  The Village of Cambridge’s leaf-pick up is scheduled from November 1st through November 30th.

Village of Cambridge residents are encouraged to mow and mulch their leaves into their lawn.  Mulched leaf litter is a good addition to a healthy lawn.  For those who wish not to mow their leaves, the Village will pick up leaves that are raked on the terrace, not the gutter or road.  Residents must keep leaves on the terrace, between the sidewalk and curb, to avoid storm water impacts and water quality.

The Village of Cambridge’s leaf pick-up is scheduled from November 1st through November 30th .  Your Public Works crews will make as many rounds of the Village as time allows until the end of the pick-up on November 30th.  In addition, the Village picks up garden waste that is placed on the terrace, not the gutter or road. Garden waste must be separated.

During the scheduled leaf pick-up dates, the Village’s compost site will be open Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm for leaf, compost and brush drop off.
