Happy New Years to all!! The Village of Cambridge’s Department of Public Works is proud to offer Christmas tree pickup services to residents.
To ensure that this service is utilized properly by residents, the following guidelines have been established:
General Guidelines:
Starting the month of January and ending the month of February Christmas trees will be collected on the 2nd week of the month. For a total of two pickups, one in January and one in February.
Real Christmas trees only, holiday wreaths are also accepted
All materials must be natural/compostable
Absolutely no metal of any kind, no ornaments, no wire or Christmas lights, no bows or plastic
All trees must be on the terrace, not in the road
This is a holiday pickup only, no other brush/compost/leaves will be picked up
All pickups are subject to change due to inclement weather and availability.
The Village of Cambridge Department of Public Works hopes that this clarifies the Christmas tree pickup guidelines and helps all Village residents to comply so that this service can continue to be provided in a safe and cost-effective manner.
